La pesca y acuicultura responsables buscan garantizar el futuro de las especies y de la biodiversidad marina. Al consumir productos sostenibles mexicanos estás contribuyendo a la protección de muchas especies y a un mejor planeta para tus hijos y los hijos de tus hijos.
#PescaConFuturo considera una pesquería como sostenible si ésta cuenta con la certificación MSC y en proceso de alcanzar la sostenibilidad si tiene la certificación Fair Trade USA; es gestionada bajo un Proyecto de Mejora Pesquera o bien si la pesquería se encuentra en verde o amarillo en la guía de compra Seafood Watch.
#PescaConFuturo considera cualquier actividad acuícola como sostenible si ésta cuenta con la certificación BAP o ASC y en proceso de alcanzar la sostenibilidad si apa- rece en verde o amarillo en la guía de compra Seafood Watch. En esta herramienta de consulta no se menciona el color en Seafood Watch pero cabe mencionar que sólo se tomó en cuenta el color azul, verde y amarillo.
